There are two variations to this game;

Circle of Honour

Where you are able to make temporary alliances until you are the last people standing and you then duel to the send to see who the last man/woman standing is 

Circle of Treachery

There is no honour, people can pretend to be dead (e.g. out the game) you can be stabbed in the back just as the game starts, alliances can be broken so don't believe someone when they say do you wish to make a temporary alliance.
